okie. this is my bed! in SAVOY hotel ****. wahaha. messy eh! the hotel was just opposite haupbanhnof main train station. rather small but comfy. just what we needed. what's more, the complimentary breakfast was out of this world. mushrooms, scrambled eggs, sunny side ones, hashbrowns, bacon, garlic sausages, meat loaf, smoked salmon w parmesan cheese, all sorts of ham and NUTELLA!!!!! whoo! okie, yeah i sound greedy but hey the food was great! apple juice, orange juice, a wide assortment of tea. peppermint tea, japanese tea, english breakfast tea, earl grey, whatever berry tea, u name it! WATER! now, what so great about water? a bottle of water there can cost like S$6. now u know why. things there are cuckooly expensive.
this is such an embarrassing photo, but i had to upload it to prove that even people of my size could actually be blown off by strong winds. wahaha. hair is all over my face while i'm smiling like a goon. the wind was so strong that i almost got blown off. i had so much difficulty crossing the bridge. wind in my face, had to close my eyes. wahaha. i walked across like a drunk person trying to find her way around. wahaha. on the bridge across river main.
this is the quaint little town square we had to cross to get to river main. doesn't it remind you of the village in beauty and the beast? wahaha. i love it that. it's like being in a cartoon. everythin' is so surreal, it's freaky!
yay! see the castle in the background? that's where we're heading! and we're getting off! why do i sound so happy u may ask. well, because we just went through a boring 4-hr ride along river main. from frankfurt to aschaffenburg. all we could so was play the join-the-dots game and bingo on the place mats found on the boat. this was how bored we were. like who would wanna play bingo on holiday? also, we had beef goulash soup, hot kakao and some set meal. the waiter seemed to pity us. he alwaes smiled at us and asked if we needed his service. he must be thinkin': what are these 3 ladies doing on this river tour. when they order food, they only order one person's share. are they ok? is it because they can't afford the food?...wahaha. like duh. one cup of hot kakao was like S$7? like hello! that's even more ex than starbucks and just two gulps and the kakao is gone.wahaha. as usual, with the wind blowing right at our faces, we took a picture.
yay! we are off the boat! about to enter the castle. wahaha. isn't it beautiful.ah!!!!! i wish i could live in it. wahaha. however, it was rather ulu. nobody around. only two security guards. wahaha.
here i am in aschaffenburg standing in front of some catholic church. wahaha. another beautiful building. actually most of them are all churches but what the heck, they all look good. wahaha. i feel so tall!!!!! i'm looking down at u. wahahaha. wacky.
the actual church without me. wahaha. it looks better with me in it right! wahaha. i'm startin' to think that the 4-hr long ride is worth it. wahaha.
